Transition
The Transition Task Force members are: Les Mahaffay – chairman, Larry Nelson, Jeff Hartquist – Secretary, Gladys Siebenahler, Donna Dahlen, Art Ehde, Curt Bloemendaal, Becky Kruger, Don Moeller, Kim Schmidt and Kira Graber. In addition to making up the following teams, the Task Force is your tool as a member of Grace Lutheran in gathering input about old and new identity, leadership needs, denominational linkage and commitment to any new direction in the future. EVERY ASPECT OF OUR CONGREGATION’S LIFE IS OPEN TO YOUR SUGGESTION AND ANALYSIS. You must become involved in order that this transition is of itself a growth experience and can point the way to ever more opportunity to tell of God’s action in and through Grace members.
The Mission/Vision Team -Art Ehde, Becky Kruger, Gladys Siebenahler & Jeff Hartquist – will examine the congregation’s Vision for Mission and will either affirm its existing challenge, or it will recommend a modified version of the Vision.
The Staff Needs Team – Curt Bloemendaal, Kira Graber & Les Mahaffay – will interview staff members, key leaders and volunteers to help understand the roles they serve and examine those existing roles, relationships and responsibilities in light of the leadership gifts that are needed to support the Vision. The roles of volunteers at Grace will be examined as well.
The Self-Study Team – Donna Dahlen, Kim Schmidt & Larry Nelson - will review areas of responsibility, authority, and accountability in all areas of congregational life. They will look at process, programs, identity, context and engagement of various aspects of these areas.
A suggestion box is at the East Entrance and every TTF member has two ears!
